Description: The long awaited sequel to our Volume 1 kit which dropped in 2020 and made a powerful impact on the Memphis Rap revival / Phonk Music genres. This kit will instantly give your beats that authentic 90s Memphis Rap sound. This kit contains drum sounds which were processed through the infamous SP1200 Drum Machine, as well as various Cassette Players to give you a variety of analog sounds for your productions. The SP1200 was a drum machine/sampler which was used by many legendary Memphis Producers including DJ Paul, Juicy J, SMK and many more. Today, the SP1200 is nearly impossible to obtain (prices on eBay regularly sell for $7000 or more). Our goal with this kit is to make the classic sound of the SP1200 affordable for every producer.

This kit includes 357 SP1200 Sampled Drum Sounds as well as Tape & Lo-Fi processed versions of these Drum Sounds. With this kit I am also including a free PDF with lo-fi mixing tips.

All of the sounds in this kit were sourced from Vinyl Records and Rare Drum Machines from the 80s/90s, then sampled through the SP1200. No recycled sounds from other Trap / Phonk kits. Strictly high quality sounds with multiple variations for maximum flexibility in your productions.
